Knowledge is power. It’s also what makes a fabulous haircut.
No matter how many awards they’ve won, no matter how far in advance they’re booked, every stylist at Antonino is committed to the highest level of training and continuing education available. This may mean participating in some of the world’s most prestigious hair shows. Or attending seminars sponsored by Americoif and Intercoiffure, important industry organizations of which Antonino Salon & Spa is a member. Or taking classes taught in our salons by Antonino stylists – which underscores the importance we place on working as a team. The point, as we see it, is that hair styles change; new cutting, coloring, and styling techniques are constantly being introduced. It’s our job not only to master them but to know what’s coming next. Or, for that matter, to actually have a hand in inventing it.

Anthony:

Anthony Marsalese is the owner of Antonino Salons and has a staff of more than fifty. By instilling his belief in superb customer service and excellent hair-styling techniques, Anthony guides each member of his salons to achieve his or her own personal goals. Anthony has an intense drive for knowledge and education – both for himself and his staff. Having trained in Paris, New York, Boston and Chicago, Anthony has a world-class influence that’s garnered him international recognition in numerous consumer and trade publications such as American Salon, Modern Salon and Passion. Currently Anthony is involved with editorial hairstyling for Hour Detroit Magazine. He has been named the “Best In The Midwest” by Harpers Bazaar and “The Best of the Best”  by Allure Magazine.

 

Jeff:

Jeff Davison has been involved with the Antonino team since 1988, becoming one of the region’s premier colorists and stylists. Jeff’s skills in color were first honed at the Wella corporation, where he worked as an advanced hair color educator. Today, he works with Primary Syn Haircolor – the signature color line of Antonino Salons – as a colorist for their photo shoots. In addition to being a business partner in the salon, Jeff is a colorist, stylist and general manager at the Antonino Commerce salon. He currently serves on the board of directors of Americoif of Detroit and attends numerous hair shows throughout the country. When not at the salon, Jeff can be found on the stage of the area’s leading regional theatres, indulging in his other passion – performing.
